I am a Marine Corps veteran turned birth doula, maternal nutritional counselor, and maternal personal trainer! I combine evidence-based support with genuine care to help you feel strong, informed, and deeply cared for throughout your healthy pregnancy journey and motherhoodβs biggest transitions. I am beyond blessed to be a wife and mother of two. When I started my motherhood journey, I quickly discovered how little I actually knew about pregnancy and birth. It was scary and confusing trying to navigate through what I saw on social media versus what was actually true. I connected with a doula who educated me and showed me how awesome pregnancy, birth, and postpartum can truly be. It was because of her and going through two births myself that I became passionate about all things from pregnancy to postpartum, including maternal wellness support and prenatal resources.
I have always had a passion for healthy living, which is why I became a certified nutritionist first. I am currently furthering my nutritional education with a dietitian masters program at Arkansas State University. My background in the military inspired my love for fitness, where I even competed in women's bodybuilding. Once I became a mother and saw how little women are informed about pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, I immediately knew I wanted to be a doula and help educate and support other women! I became a birth doula through DONA , which is the most well known and reputable international doula organizations. After gaining education and experience in all three fields, I learned how all three thingsβdoula-ing, nutrition, and fitnessβare connected!
